The
fifth short project consists of the creation of a webquest. Good
general discussions about webquests in education should be researched
and read from the following websites. Many have sample webquests in
order to give you ideas in the creation of your own.:

Fifth Project Instructions:
Create your own Webquest using either Zunal (http://zunal.com/index.php)--[This plateform is Free for basic usage, which is plenty for this project] or Questgarden (http://webquest.org/index-create.php)--[Questgarden is free for 30 days and you can still access your webquest afterwards].

- Process
- Worksheets, guides & instructions (1%)
- Internet resources such as hyperlinks to web pages as well as appropriate YouTube videos (1%)
- Evaluation & Teacher Page (1%)

- Be creative, design the webquest so that it is appropriate for your grade level and topic, and use the English Language correctly (1%)
Due date for this project is on October 11th and should be presented to the class on said date with your Blog project. Be prepared to stay till all projects have been presented and critiqued.
The following YouTube videos gives you insight into Quest Garden which is an excellent platform but only free for 30 days. You should access their large library of WebQuests in order to inspire you on the creation of your own WebQuest.

From all the projects presented so far, this has been my favorite undoubtely! For example, The WebQuest gives a great opportunity to innovate and do something different for extra class works. It is a very useful tool to assign students projects in a way that they can feel that they are really creating their knowledge through the work they are doing. Besides this, with this great technological tool you can integrate the four primary skills (listening, speaking, reading and writing) plus another skill like culture, this through links with important information about a topic, or practices, or videos embedded in the WebQuest to reinforce an explanation of a topic. I would definitely incorporate this tool in my plans as a future teacher, because by itself or used together with any of the other tools that we've studied, this can be a great ally in the learning process.
